Key Accountabilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and, where trained, mechanical equipment. Support compliance and safety standards, including statutory requirements. Work independently and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently. Participate in development programmes to build mechanical capability if joining with electrical-only background. Contribute to project work, ensuring assets are installed, maintained, and commissioned to high standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues promptly. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Work safely in confined spaces, following health and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience: Full UK driving license required for site travel. Recognised qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Proven experience in a core discipline within industrial or utilities environments. Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Willingness to develop skills in additional disciplines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation. Strong communication and basic IT skills. This role may not be eligible for visa sponsorship.
