The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. - Fire & Security Location: Sheffield & Yorkshire region Salary: £30,000-£40,000 DOE Vehicle Overtime Benefits Contract: Permanent, Full -Time A leading national fire & security specialist is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team in the Sheffield/Yorkshire area.
This role offers a mix of installation, service, maintenance and commissioning across fire alarms, emergency lighting and electronic security systems.
The Role Install, service and fault-find on fire alarms, intruder, CCTV, access control and emergency lighting Carry out PPM, compliance testing and commissioning Complete digital job reports, handover packs and asset updates Work from drawings/specs and ensure high standards of workmanship Provide excellent customer service and maintain safe working practices Optional callout/overtime available with enhanced rates What You Need Experience with at least three disciplines: Fire / Emergency Lighting / Intruder / CCTV / Access Control Strong fault-finding skills Knowledge of BS 5839, PD 6662/EN 50131, BS EN 62676 xehkeey (preferred but not essential) Electrical experience Full UK driving licence Desirable: FIA training, ECS/CSCS, IPAF/PASMA.
