- £45,000 (International Travel) Our client is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their growing technical team.
This role involves site visits for installation, commissioning, upgrades, fault finding, and customer support for industrial machinery and production line systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment operates efficiently while delivering excellent technical support to customers both onsite and remotely.
Key Responsibilities Carry out site visits for installation, commissioning, upgrades, breakdowns, and fault finding Write, debug, and commission software for production line integrations onsite Provide remote diagnostics and technical support for machine breakdowns, upgrades, and installations Deliver telephone and email support to customers when required Maintain and update service and support logs with accurate customer and job information Essential Requirements Recognised qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (e.g., BTEC, HNC or equivalent) Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background Electrical certification for working with 3-phase installations Minimum 5 years experience servicing industrial machinery Minimum 5 years experience in machine fault finding At least 2 years experience with basic programming using Siemens or Allen Bradley software Personal Attributes Valid passport and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally Excellent xbpsjku communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with strong initiative Ability to work to tight deadlines Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements If you are a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with advanced automation systems, we would love to hear from you.
