My client is part of a larger company that are known within the industry for their work with pipeline equipment for steam, water and oil systems. They manufacture various equipment including valves, steam traps, actuators and heat exchange packages. Due to extensive growth, they are now Looking for Field Service Engineer to join their engineering team covering North of the M62 corridor and into the Midlands.
As a Service Engineer you will be servicing and repairing steam systems and related equipment on clients’ sites.\n\nField Service Engineer\n\n£34,000 - £40,000 (DOE)\n\n25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, bonus opportunities, vehicle, phone, laptop and pension scheme\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAttend customer sites within the assigned territory.\nRespond to emergency breakdowns, fault-find, and carry out repairs.\nService and repair packaged systems, valves, plant rooms, steam distribution systems, and control loops.\nCompile detailed service/repair worksheets via the company service app.\nLiaise effectively with customers and engineering departments.\nProvide solutions and build strong relationships with customers.\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Valve Engineer, or similar.\nExperience servicing valves and process equipment .\nFlexibility to respond to ad-hoc callouts.\nFull UK driving licence.\nFull product and technical training will be provided.\nSkills & Attributes\n\nMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\n“ser-in
