Field Service Engineering Manager Location: Borehamwood (Office-based) Salary: Competitive + Benefits + Company Car We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead and develop a nationwide team of Field Service Engineers for a well-established manufacturing company based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities Recruit, lead, and manage a team of Field Service Engineers across the UK Deliver training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to enhance team capability Support engineers in progressing their skills from servicing into commissioning and installation work Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing expectations and service delivery Drive performance, motivation, and continuous improvement across the team Candidate Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Proven experience managing or supervising field-based engineering teams Industry experience in steam systems, industrial boilers, or HVAC is highly desirable Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Company car Opportunity to shape and develop a growing service function Stable, well-established manufacturing environment within a successful European group This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineering leader looking to influence a business, develop people, and contribute to long-term growth
