Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site sampling and testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
Prepare and maintain vehicles, tools, and testing equipment before and after site visits
Accurately complete test sheets and input data using tablets or digital systems
Liaise with senior staff regarding work schedules, sample requirements, and testing procedures
Follow all quality control and health & safety procedures on site
Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold company standards at all times
Person Specification
Proven field-based experience in construction materials testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and well organised
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full, clean UK driving licence
Ability to manually handle samples (up to 20kg)
Desirable
Experience in a UKAS-accredited testing environment
Knowledge of relevant testing standards and procedures
CSCS card
