Together, we’ll drive progress, race after race.Main DutiesMonth end performance reporting – review results, identify adjustments working closely with Controllership team and provide clear, action-oriented commentary to stakeholdersForecasting and planning – lead forecasting / planning for respective departments ensuring alignment to annual operating plan and buy-in from stakeholdersMonthly performance reviews – prepare and present monthly performance reviews with stakeholders and senior management, clearly identifying variances, challenged to budget and actions to drive performanceBusiness case preparation – working closely with business partners, provide financial expertise in relation to business cases including investment appraisal and scenario analysisProject management – track cashflows in relation to key projects and identify clear actions to ensure Commercial successCost cap optimisation – ensuring Williams allocates resources in an optimal wayAd-hoc analysis and support – create / maintain / improve key financial models to support ad-hoc projects and strategic initiativesCore CompetenciesProblem solving – focus on value creation and facilitating decision makingPrioritisation – fast-paced environment necessitates ability to prioritise effectively and focus on strategic goalsCan-do attitude – supporting Williams Finance transformation journey with a positive outlookAttention to detail – build credibility with stakeholders through accuracy and consistency of financial messagingClear communication – ability to translate complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholdersFinancial acumen – clear understanding of key accounting concepts (e.g. accruals / prepayments)Company DescriptionFor almost 50 years, Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
