Finance Business Partner - Tag EMEA Business Partnering (Maternity Cover- 6 to 9 month contract) Organisation: Tag is one of the largest independent global creative production and strategic sourcing partners worldwide. The FBP is an integral role within the TAG EMEA Commercial team dedicated to providing support to our EMEA operations. This role will actively support the client services and operational teams by producing and presenting insightful analysis to manage business performance and supports decision making across several key strategic client accounts. This role will require business partnering with the relevant Business Directors and their direct reports, adding value and influencing the decision-making process. The successful candidate will need to be able to influence stakeholders to ensure correct processes are followed especially around billing, work‑in‑progress and cost control. Building up a strong rapport with the Business Directors and their team is crucial to success in the role as is gaining their trust. Proactive research into the commercial drivers will be required to ensure successful articulation of analysis to support the business. The FBP will need to work closely with the Operational business team to optimise work‑share across global locations and work closely with other regional finance teams as required. They will need a thorough understanding of the profit drivers across their portfolio of accounts (both client facing and internal). The FBP will work closely with the Controlling teams responsible for all transactional work and first line business support. The FBP will be supported by a team of analysts based in India and be allocated a dedicated analyst to support. They will use their technical, problem solving and interpersonal skills to ensure that revenue is maximised, and cost efficiencies are being implemented in their area of responsibility as well as generating annual budgets and periodic forecasts. They will also be required to support the Commercial Director and Growth Team in preparation of proposals for new business opportunities, completing commercial analysis to assist decision making. Business Partnering

Business partnering acumen to develop strong relationships with business owners. Ability/confidence to provide appropriate degree of challenge to client services and operations teams to ensure sound decision-making from a financial perspective. Utilising systems, commercial and financial acumen to identify areas of improvement within the business. Commercial analysis to support various activities and assist in decision making within the division – contract renewals and initiatives to optimise operational delivery of work. Support of colleagues within Finance team to assist completion of various reporting / analysis activities. Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process for client accounts. Responsible for presenting monthly P&L and ad hoc reporting to the business leads. Identification of process improvements to support the management team and improve the delivery of information across the business.

Commercial/New Business

Partnering with the Growth Team to provide commercial acumen and support on new business opportunities. Provide appropriate challenge to assumptions and structures of fee proposals. Support the Commercial Director in developing RFPs and pitch submissions. Working with stakeholders around the business to gather pricing information to collate proposals. Have experience of and be comfortable with client facing conversations.

Person specification

Finance professional, with a strong grasp of financial management, business partnering and performance management with relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or by experience). Relevant experience in a similar commercially focused role. Highly commercial with a real drive to gain an understanding of the business. Excellent understanding of the agency production model, rates cards, margins etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriate for engaging a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders. Highly numerate with strong analytical, data modelling and problem-solving capabilities enabled by advanced Excel skills. Strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team and the strength of character to challenge the business and influence decision making.
