The Opportunity This is a transformational Finance Director role that extends far beyond traditional finance leadership. You will operate as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, bringing commercial insight, financial discipline and operational understanding to support continued growth. With a vertically integrated manufacturing facility, strong margins and scalable infrastructure, the company is well positioned for expansion. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Partner with the senior leadership team to shape and execute the business growth strategy Support both organic expansion and potential acquisitions
Commercial & Operational Engagement
Work closely with commercial teams and clients to understand customer dynamics, supply chain complexity and profitability drivers Maintain strong operational visibility by spending time across production and operational teams Develop robust financial models, forecasts and long-term planning frameworks Implement and maintain a strong KPI framework to measure performance against business objectives Oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance and statutory requirements
Cash, Treasury & Working Capital
Lead cash management and treasury strategy Optimise working capital and ensure strong liquidity management
Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with auditors, advisors, legal partners and funding providers Support banking and funding relationships
M&A and Investment
Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities Support funding strategies and investment planning Guide leadership through potential investment, funding or exit processes
The Candidate We are looking for a commercially astute and entrepreneurial Finance Director who thrives in high-growth environments. Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience operating at Finance Director or senior finance leadership level Experience within manufacturing or a similar operational environment Track record of scaling businesses and driving financial discipline Experience with M&A, funding cycles, or corporate transactions Strong financial reporting, performance management and forecasting expertise
