About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a 2025 Start Up as their Finance Manager. The Directors have previous track records of success at companies within Construction, Project Management and Property. They are looking for someone who is both hands on with day to day finance duties while being able to add long term strategic value as the company grows.
This is initially a standalone position although there is an office administrator who supports with basic finance tasks. Previous management experience is desirable as the role will develop over time
Key Responsibilities
*
Preparing monthly Management Accounts
*
Sales and Purchase Ledger
*
Running payroll
*
Liaising with the companies pension provider
*
Analyse and completing VAT returns
*
Undertaking bank reconciliation
*
Credit control
*
Maintain the fixed asset register and post monthly depreciation journals
*
Prepare year end for submission to the external accountants
*
Liaise with suppliers
*
Maintain and develop internal financial controls
You Will
*
Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
*
Be highly proficient with Excel
*
Ideally have working knowledge of Sage 50
*
Have a keen eye for detail
*
Be able to work
*
