The job:

The purpose of the Finance Manager/Management Accountant is to provide support to the Managing Director and a full-time Finance Assistant whilst ensuring the timely production of management accounts.

  • Preparation of management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations etc
  • Providing key reports to the Senior Management Team
  • Weekly cashflow reporting
  • CIS submissions
  • Revenue recognition
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Assisting with process improvements
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The person:

  • Previous experience is required.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, be proactive and take ownership is essential.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • You must be IT literate with strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage.
