Finance Manager | Fast growing AI Start-up | Salary £50,000 - £60,000 bonus | Remote


I am looking for a commercially driven Finance Manager to own the end-to-end finance function in a scaling AI business. Working directly with the CEO, this is a highly visible role spanning strategic finance, financial operations, investor reporting, and cross-functional leadership.


For this role your responsibilities will include;

  • Own management accounts, month-end close, and quarterly reporting
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Build and maintain robust financial models
  • Manage R&D tax credit claims and EMI stock option schemes
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and act as key investor contact on financial performance
  • Own cash flow, working capital, and cost control
  • Monitor SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn) and provide actionable insights
  • Improve financial visibility through dashboards and KPI tracking
  • Scale finance systems and controls alongside business growth
  • Oversee payroll, headcount planning, and workforce cost modelling
  • Support compensation structures, bonus schemes, and commission frameworks


You will ideally have the following;

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist/ qualified or equivalent to be considered.
  • SaaS or technology background preferred
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and Excel skills
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and FinOps
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware


For this role you might be required to go into the office 1 days a week in London however this will be a remote role. You will work closely with the senior stakeholders across the business and support the company in the next stage of growth while building a finance function & team.
