Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of corporate accounting across Europe (UK & Ireland focus), playing a key role in reporting, controls, and business partnering.


  • Lead monthly financial reporting with clear variance analysis
  • Oversee operating costs, including payroll, and provide insights to FP&A
  • Manage VAT and compliance reporting (UK & Ireland)
  • Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and business planning
  • Own audit processes and act as key contact for external auditors
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls
  • Drive process improvements and enhance reporting quality
  • Lead and develop a small international team


What's required

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a multi-entity, international business
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (ideally within real estate)
  • Experience in compliance, including VAT preparation and submission
  • Experience in payroll accounting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
