HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a hugely successful business, who have seen strong year on year growth, in their search for a Finance Manager to join the team in a newly created role.

About the role:

This is a broad and hands-on reporting position, with a blend of both commercial finance and reporting, and management of two junior team members. This is a unique opportunity, ideal for a qualified accountant with financial reporting or management accounting experience, who is on the lookout for their next step.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\t
• Management responsibility for two Management Accountants, managing their workload and supporting their development
\n\t
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
\n\t
• Preparation of financial insights and monthly management information
\n\t
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual external audit process
\n\t
• Produce detailed financial analysis to support performance tracking against budgets
\n\t
• Work with the wider team to create cash flow modelling
\n\t
• Build relationships with wider team to support strategic direction of the business
\n\t
• Take ownership of team success and accountability
\n\t
• Involved in the production of quarterly performance packs for key internal stakeholders  
\n

About You:

\n\t
• Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
\n\t
• Excellent interpersonal skills
\n\t
• Prior mentoring/management experience
\n\t
• Good IT skills (including strong Excel skills)
\n\t
• Proactive with the ability to manage workload
\n\t
• Strong attention to detail
\n\t
• Financial reporting/management accounting background
\n\t
• Commercial mindset  
\n
