A well-established UK infrastructure and civil engineering organisation delivering essential asset management and highways maintenance services across long-term frameworks. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to support operational and commercial teams within a key infrastructure portfolio. The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Manager will support day-to-day financial management of contracts and business units, providing timely analysis and commercial insight. You will work independently with operational and commercial teams to ensure accurate reporting, financial control and governance. Key Responsibilities
Financial Control Drive accurate contract reporting and identify margin improvement opportunities
Ensure fair contract positions including WIP, accruals and reserves
Support cash flow forecasting and debt management
Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls
Financial Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts
Consolidate month-end reporting packs
Support annual budgets and re-forecasting processes
Monitor overheads, provisions and capital expenditure
Accounting Ensure accurate cost allocation across projects
Support invoicing, payroll entries and journal postings
Maintain strong governance across ledgers and financial controls
About You
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Circa 5+ years post-qualification experience
Experience within construction, infrastructure or engineering environments desirable
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence operational stakeholders
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
