Our client, a multi-award winning, market leader supplies a range of quality branded products and services to its predominantly Scottish, but UK-wide client base. The effective management of growth necessitates the strengthening of the existing finance team. As such the business seeks to recruit a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include: *Management and ownership of the month end and periodic reporting processes ensuring the delivery of quality management information*Development of the reporting pack, providing insightful information for the senior management team and wider group*Implementation of a 12 month rolling forecast*Contribution to the budgeting and business planning process*Driving efficiencies and improving systems, processes and controls*Working closely with and supporting the FC, particularly on addressing operational challenges and considerations.*Management, mentoring, training and development of a Finance Assistant*Building strong working relationships across the business.*Deputising for the FC as required We're looking for an individual with a management reporting background ideally acquired within a sizeable organisation, and with a sound understanding of business controls.
