Finance Systems Product Manager
to take ownership of a core practice management and finance platform within a complex, multi-office professional-services organisation. This is a strategic, hands-on role combining product ownership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring strong system adoption, and maximising long-term value from the platform. Key responsibilities
Own the product vision, roadmap, and enhancement pipeline for the finance system Maintain and prioritise a structured backlog of enhancements, fixes, integrations, and configuration changes Lead the delivery of system improvements from requirements through to release Work closely with finance, technology, and operational teams to align systems with business processes Act as the primary point of contact for system functionality, improvements, and future direction Coordinate internal delivery resources and external partners to deliver enhancements effectively Manage upgrades, patches, and module or feature implementations Establish and maintain strong system governance, documentation, and data quality standards Oversee issue triage and ensure effective resolution with support teams and vendors Communicate roadmap priorities, progress, and releases to stakeholders at all levels Skills and experience
Essential Significant experience working with finance or practice management systems in a professional-services environment Strong understanding of financial processes such as billing, work-in-progress, collections, and reporting Proven experience leading system enhancements, optimisation initiatives, or integrations Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership Ability to translate business needs into structured technical or functional deliverables Analytical and detail-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset Desirable Experience working with complex enterprise finance platforms Familiarity with data structures, reporting, or system integrations Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams Background in legal, financial, or professional-services organisations
