Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application. *Part-time – 18.75 hrs/week (flexible) | Hybrid – Merthyr Tydfil |* *£14,000–£17,000/year (£28,000–£34,000 FTE)* We’re looking for an experienced Finance Systems & Reporting Officer to join The BUSY Group UK. You’ll own our monthly and quarterly reporting process, support the Finance Manager in ensuring accurate Xero coding, and help keep our ledgers clean and reconciled. *Working pattern:* Flexible 2.5 days per week (18.75 hours), with a requirement to be in the Merthyr Tydfil office at least once per week. Some visits will align with the Head of Operations & Finance being on site every second Thursday and Friday. Occasional UK travel may be required. *What you’ll do:* * Maintain and ensure uniformity within Xero data across multiple entities * Reconcile bank, creditor, debtor, and intercompany accounts * Ensure accurate coding and VAT treatment in Xero * Produce monthly and quarterly reports to set deadlines * Support the team with correct data entry and process improvements *What we need:* * Advanced Xero skills * Strong accrual accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, reconciliations) * Confident with Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Word * Attention to detail, process-driven, and proactive *Salary & Benefits:* * £14,000/year for 18.75 hours per week (£28,000 FTE) * Company pension * On-site parking * Hybrid working – mix of office and remote * Flexible schedule * Supportive, friendly team environment * Occasional UK travel for collaboration and meetings Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: £14,000.00-£17,000.00 per year Expected hours: 18.75 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Flexitime * Free parking * Life insurance * On-site parking * Work from home Work Location: Hybrid remote in Merthyr Tydfil CF48 4TQ Application deadline: 22/08/2025 Reference ID: TBG008 Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
