Robert Half is partnering with a well established and highly regarded professional services business in Manchester to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant into their finance team. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong reputation and a clear focus on high quality financial reporting and insight.
The role
* Part of a high performing finance function reporting into senior leadership * A mix of financial reporting, analysis and forward looking insight * Exposure to group reporting and senior stakeholders * Opportunity to support strategic and commercial decision making
Key responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports * Support budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning * Build and maintain financial models * Analyse financial performance, trends and variances * Monitor KPIs and provide clear insight to the business * Support group consolidation and senior management reporting * Assist with interim and year end financial statements * Prepare technical accounting papers * Support the external audit process * Work closely with non finance teams to ensure data accuracy
About you
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified * Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis or FP&A * Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets * Comfortable using reporting or BI tools * Able to communicate financial information clearly to non finance stakeholders * Detail focused with a commercial mindset
Package and benefits
* Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience * Hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home after probation * Shorter working hours on a Friday * Generous holiday allowance with the option to buy additional days * Private medical cover after a qualifying period * On site gym access
