Financial Accountant required to join the finance team of a Manufacturer based at their site in Bodmin. Reporting to the head of finance, the successful candidate will be integral to preparing and overseeing financial reporting for the business, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies. This role encompasses managing key financial processes, maintaining internal controls, and providing valuable financial insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities: The Financial Accountant will support or take ownership of the following tasks, along with any additional duties as required: Take ownership of the preparation and monitoring of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Manage the month-end and year-end activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Generate financial insights and provide recommendations to inform decisions made by senior leadership. Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for group reporting purposes.
