2 days per week on site About the Role Our client, a leading global payments technology company, is seeking an experienced financial analyst to support a global retail banking client in a credit card-focused role. This position sits at the intersection of advanced analytics and commercial insight, working in a consulting capacity with senior stakeholders. You will bring strong technical analytical skills alongside a deep understanding of credit card commercial drivers, revenue models, and customer-level financial data.

Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted analytics partner to business and commercial stakeholders within the credit card function Analyse large-scale, customer-level credit card and card finance datasets to generate actionable insights Support decision-making around profitability, revenue, and performance drivers within credit cards Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, commercially focused recommendations Work collaboratively with stakeholders in a consulting-style engagement, balancing technical depth with business impact Required Skills & Experience Proven background in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Analytics Consultant role within financial services Strong understanding of how credit card businesses generate revenue (e.g. interest, interchange, fees, balances, customer behaviour) Advanced Excel skills (modelling, large datasets, financial analysis) Strong SQL capability for querying and manipulating customer-level data Experience with Python or a similar coding language for analytics and automation Comfortable working with complex financial and transactional datasets Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link analysis to business outcomes

Desirable Experience working with AWS Experience using Snowflake Prior consulting or stakeholder-facing analytics experience within retail banking or credit cards
