This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys shaping processes, systems, and reporting. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening financial operations and supporting strategic decision‑making throughout the contract period. Our client is looking for someone who can confidently lead day‑to‑day finance operations while driving continual improvement across the finance function. You’ll also take ownership of monthly group consolidation across multiple entities — a key part of the role. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily finance operations: AP, AR, payroll, and banking Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and board packs Lead budgeting and planning cycles, providing clear commercial insight Complete monthly group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and compliance standards Drive improvements in financial systems, automation, and reporting processes Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners

About You

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with strong SME experience Essential experience working with multi‑entity structures Recruitment sector experience is beneficial but not essential Commercial, analytical, and confident engaging with stakeholders Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment Strong systems capability (Xero/Sage or similar) with a process‑improvement mindset
