They are now recruiting for a technically strong Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO you will lead the day-to-day operations of the UK and group finance function. You will manage/develop the team with the main-focus on management/financial reporting as well as FP&A and some ad-hoc project & analysis work. Key Accountabilities include:

Review monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns Coordination of statutory group accounting, audit and managing auditors and liaising with tax advisors as required. Preparing monthly group cash flow reporting for the bank, including quarterly bank loan covenant testing. Manage financial IT systems, reviewing finance assistant postings as necessary and liaising with IT/Operational teams Preparation of annual budget & quarterly forecast Develop and maintain internal controls procedures, aiming to continuously streamline and improve financial operations and systems Ad-hoc project & analysis work as directed by the CFO and C-Suite Lead/develop the UK/Group Finance team/function

Skills and Experience:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Experienced FC with a proven background in managing a group/divisional finance function Technically strong with good knowledge of external reporting Excellent IT skills and always looking to improve processes Commercially astute and able to quickly establish credibility with non-financial stakeholders Experienced team Leader who always gets the best out of their team A self-starter who can work autonomously and manage multiple projects/deadlines all at once Thrives in a fast-paced but relaxed and creative environment.
