Financial Accountant | Finance Manager | Reporting | ERP (IFS)Hybrid – 3 Days On-site in HampshireSC Clearance (Eligible)ABOUT THE CLIENTOur client is a leading technology and engineering organisation delivering innovative solutions across defence, national security and commercial sectors.They are seeking a Financial Accountant / Finance Manager to support and enhance financial reporting processes, ensuring the business operates effectively and efficiently across all financial activities.THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLEAs a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day finance operations while driving improvements across financial reporting processes.You will oversee core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.You will also be responsible for producing monthly and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and managing audit and tax requirements. Working closely with senior stakeholders, including the Finance Director, you will provide insights, challenge where necessary, and contribute to strategic decision‑making.ESSENTIAL SKILLSQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Proven experience in a Financial Accountant / Finance Manager / similar roleStrong experience in financial reporting and group reportingExperience managing AR, AP, GL, fixed assets and inventory processesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controlsExperience supporting audit processes (internal and external)Experience with budgeting and forecastingStrong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyse and challengeExperience working with ERP systemsDESIRABLEExperience with IFS ERP systemExperience within technology, engineering or defence environmentsActive SC clearanceTO BE CONSIDEREDPlease either apply via this advert or email your CV directly to ryan.baker@searchability.com.
