About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our dynamic Finance team. This pivotal role will ensure robust financial control, compliance, and reporting across the business and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have experience in international environments and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.

Key Responsibilities Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management accounts, and Board reports for the Group and subsidiaries. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and local regulations in all jurisdictions. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including statutory accounts and audit engagement. Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Coordinate annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Support development of long-term financial plans and forecasts aligned with strategic objectives. Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, variances, and trends. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market, operational, and compliance risks. Champion the use of ERP systems and accounting software to drive efficiency and accuracy. Work with the Data Visualisation Lead to ensure reporting is consistent, reconciled, and based on a single source of truth. Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, including M&A and business transformation projects. Deliver insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 7 years experience in finance/accounting roles, ideally in a global or multi-entity environment. Strong technical knowledge of FRS102, tax regulations, and financial controls. Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL)
