On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a number of Financial Crime Business Analysts- Asset Management for a 6-month contract based in London. It is a hybrid model.

Purpose of the role:
The Financial Crime Business Analyst will support the delivery of financial crime change initiatives within Asset Management, focusing on the implementation of process and technology enhancements in line with updated risk assessment methodologies and regulatory standards. The role requires a hands-on Business Analyst who works closely with 1st and 2nd Line stakeholders to drive practical implementation, ensuring financial crime controls are effectively embedded rather than limited to documentation.
What you'll do:
Lead gap analysis comparing current vs. target operating models and define solutions to address identified gaps.
Drive implementation of process and technology changes, ensuring alignment with risk assessment methodologies and agreed action plans.
Work closely with internal teams (Life, Corporate Functions, Compliance, Procurement) and partner with 1LoD and 2LoD to deliver effective financial crime solutions.
Develop and deliver communications and training materials to support business change initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal standards while producing clear documentation, including target operating models, risk frameworks, and implementation plans.
The skills you'll need:
Significant experience as a Business Analyst working on financial crime change programmes.
Experience with financial crime customer lifecycle management.
Experience in asset management environments is essential.
Exposure to third-party oversight and working with external service providers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Hands-on experience with gap analysis and defining target operating models.
Knowledge of procurement and compliance processes from a financial crime perspective.
Some exposure to project management responsibilities.
