Lead and develop a Financial Operations team, managing workloads and performance Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely transactional processing Support month‑end close, including reconciliations, journals, and ledger close Monitor key controls and KPIs across creditors, debtors, purchase orders, cash, and treasury Own and administer finance systems, including user access, reporting, and system improvements Oversee payroll, tax, pension, and statutory reporting, liaising with external providers and auditors Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and user engagement

A Successful Financial Operations Manager Should Have

Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA) or strong experience in a similar finance operations role (Qualified by Experience) Proven experience leading a transactional finance function in a fast‑paced environment Managed a team previously Excellent technical knowledge Track record of improving finance processes, controls, and ways of working
