Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a passionate and experienced Mobile Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in high-quality installations and maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
As a Mobile Fire & Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic fire and security systems across a wide range of commercial buildings throughout Surrey and Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities Carrying out site surveys and system assessments. Installing and commissioning systems including fire alarms, CCTV, and access control. System programming, testing, and fault-finding. Performing routine maintenance and repairs. Ensuring all works comply with NSI, BAFE, and relevant industry regulations. Providing clear client handovers and user training. Maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
Requirements Modern Apprenticeships in Electronic Security Systems or Fire & Security Systems offer on-the-job training
Desired NVQ Diplomas (Level 2/3) in Electronic Fire & Security Systems, or Electrical Installations
Desired FIA (Fire Industry Association) or BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) courses for specific skills. 5 years experience in a similar position UK Drivers License Right to work in the UK
