Working across commercial and residential sites, you will ensure systems are fully compliant with industry standards and codes of practice.The Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer will be confident working independently, managing jobs from start to finish, completing documentation and providing a professional, safe and tidy service on-site.ABOUT USFor over 10 years weve been dedicated to helping our clients protect their properties across the UK. Our engineers are highly trained specialists in fire and general security with a very wide range of qualifications and experience.We offer our clients a large number of products which will impact on their safety such as the latest burglar alarms, CCTV, fire protection and access control systems always designed to individual needs to provide the best possible protection for each property.DUTIESYour duties as the Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer include:System Installation: Install and commission fire alarm systems (including Advanced, Apollo, Kentec and C-TEC panels), intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systemsService & Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenanceIntruder Alarm Systems: Work confidently with Texecom and Galaxy systemsCCTV Systems: Install and maintain Hikvision, Avigilon and Dahua IP CCTV systemsAccess Control: Install and configure Paxton and ACT access control systemsTesting & Compliance: Complete system testing, ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes of practiceDocumentation: Accurately complete paperwork, test sheets and handover documentationNetworking Support: Configure basic networking including adding devices, assigning IP addresses and connecting equipmentCustomer Service: Maintain a professional, safe and tidy approach when working on client sitesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in fire alarm installation, service and maintenanceExperience with Advanced and Apollo fire alarm systemsProven experience of working with Texecom and Galaxy intruder alarmsExperience with IP CCTV systems including Hikvision, Avigilon and DahuaA background in access control systems such as Paxton and ACTKnowledge of fire and security industry standards and codes of practiceBasic networking knowledge including device configuration and IP addressingAbility to work independently and manage jobs through to completionStrong organisational skills and the ability to complete documentation accuratelyFull UK driving licenceBENEFITSCompany carPhone and laptopTools and PPE providedOngoing trainingNO AGENCIES PLEASEHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
