Job Title: FLT Driver – Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver
Location: Coleshill B46
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour £15.20 after 10pm
Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 37.5hrs
Contract Type: 12 weeks temp to perm

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver Counterbalance to join a busy warehouse facilities team. This is a dual-role position combining FLT counterbalance driving with manual handling and yard duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled counterbalance FLT driver looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent after 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a counterbalance FLT truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck (FLT counterbalance driver role)
Supporting general warehouse and yard operations
Manual handling – physically moving products off trucks when required
Assisting the facilities team with daily operational tasks
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence (accredited) – essential
Proven experience as an FLT Driver / Counterbalance Driver / Forklift Driver Counterbalance
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments
Flexible approach to shift patterns (varying shifts required)
Strong work ethic and reliability
