The Role

We are recruiting a Footwear Sales Account Manager to lead the commercial growth of Joma’s footwear ranges across the UK. This includes running, football, padel, turf, indoor, and lifestyle categories.

You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and showcasing Joma’s footwear innovation to retailers, specialist stores, sports clubs, running groups, and event organisers. The role combines account management, field sales, product expertise, and brand representation.


Key Responsibilities

•Manage and grow a portfolio of footwear customers across the UK

•Sell Joma’s footwear collections (running, football, padel, trail, indoor, lifestyle) to new and existing partners

•Identify and onboard new retail partners, specialist running stores, event distributors, schools, and clubs

•Promote Joma products at running events, exhibitions, trade shows and industry gatherings

•Support customers with technical questions, product education, and category training

•Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the UK footwear landscape

•Work closely with the internal team to manage orders, deliveries, and aftercare

•Ensure all commercial objectives and sales targets are achieved

•Build strong, long-term relationships to drive loyalty and repeat sales


What We’re Looking For

•Previous experience in sport, footwear, or running industry sales roles

•Strong understanding of the running market (running events, marathon culture, retail trends)

•Ability to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and deliver results

•Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

•Strong customer relationship management and ability to build rapport quickly

•Genuine passion for sport—running experience or involvement is highly valued

•Technical understanding of footwear categories (cushioning, stability, studs, grip types, etc.)

•UK-based with willingness to travel regularly across regions
