Hours:
37 per week (3-shift rotation)
We are recruiting for a Forge Inspector on behalf of a leading manufacturing client. This role is key to ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across forging and inspection operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect forged components, dies, and machined parts Carry out hot and black forge inspections Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Use precision measuring equipment and perform numerical calculations Support production targets, quality standards, and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and safe systems of work Work flexibly across multiple inspection areas as required Requirements:
Time-served engineer (HNC or equivalent) Strong numerical and problem-solving skills Experience in quality inspection and manufacturing environments Knowledge of safe working practices and quality systems Ability to work shifts and adapt to business needs Desirable:
Experience reading technical drawings and using inspection tools
