Our client has been established for the past 30 years that provide materials handling equipment to industries across Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and East London. They are looking for an experienced forklift engineer to join their ever growing team to cover the Ipswich area and be based within a commutable distance of Ipswich. The role comes with a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 dependant on experience with door to door pay and routes to progression in the business for the right candidate.

Forklift Engineer Salary & Benefits

* £35,000-£40,000 basic dependant on experience. * Door to door pay. * Overtime paid at time and a half. * Company vehicle, fuel card and tools provided. * 25 days holiday plus bank holiday. * Route to progression in the business. * Pension.

Forklift Engineer Job Overview

* Provide service, repairs and maintenance on forklift trucks (Gas, diesel and electric) and other material handling equipment. * Cover a patch around the Ipswich area. * Keep service and maintenance records up to date. * Provide excellent service when out at customers sites.

Forklift Engineer Job Requirements

* Relevant work experience in a similar role essential. * Qualifications in the forklift industry would be beneficial but not essential * Within a commutable distance of Ipswich. * Manual driving licence. * Strong mechanical skills essential, electrical skillset would be advantageous.
