We're Hiring: Freelance Quantity Surveyor Location: Northwest Sectors: Retail/ Commercial/ Educational/ Hospitals Project Types: Fit Out /Refurb/ New Build Values: TBC FREELANCE: £350-450 per day dependant on project Duration: Short term, long term, ongoing Duties of a Freelance Quantity Surveyor include but are not limited to: Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties. Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client. Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract. Preparation of internal cost reporting measures. Maintaining quality control procedures. Health & Safety management. Undertaking all tasks in a timely fashion and as required by management. Ensure cash flow is maximised Requirements for the Freelance Quantity Surveyor Minimum 4 years previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor Experience working on main contractor side on a industrial projects
