Duties
Oversee daily freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
Time management best effective for the business
Select best service which is best suited for the company to maximise profits
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards across all freight activities.
Develop strategies for process improvements in freight handling and delivery operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational effectiveness and implement corrective actions.
Skills
Proven experience in freight operations in ocean imports / exports.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
