Freight Forwarder Location: Glasgow Salary: £35,000 We are working with a leading logistics provider who are seeking a Freight Forwarder to join their growing team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in freight operations to further develop their career with a highly respected business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate freight shipments (both full and part loads).

Source, negotiate, and liaise with carriers and subcontractors to ensure competitive rates and service levels.

Oversee the end-to-end process, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and to customer requirements.

Prepare and manage relevant freight documentation and customs requirements.

Track and monitor consignments, resolving any issues proactively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in freight forwarding is essential.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office applications.
