The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a skilled engineering group responsible for creating and scaling products that facilitate international commerce. In this senior individual contributor position, you will collaborate with senior technical leaders to influence architecture, deliver complex initiatives, and support the growth of other engineers.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting a strong technical standard through hands-on development and thoughtful decision-making
  • Defining and guiding the technical roadmap within your team
  • Coaching experienced engineers and promoting engineering best practices
  • Leading large-scale projects from initial planning through to release
  • Ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and performant
  • Removing obstacles to maintain team productivity
  • Upholding high standards across engineering and operations
  • Clearly explaining technical developments to a range of stakeholders


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, including frameworks such as React and Next.js, alongside backend technologies like Node.js and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • A product-focused mindset with a clear understanding of user needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience delivering complex technical work in fast-growing or venture-backed environments
  • Comfort working in dynamic, evolving startup settings
  • Interest in improving financial access and infrastructure globally


Desirable Experience

  • Ability to work in both French and English
  • Previous exposure to fintech, payments platforms, digital wallets, or ledger systems
  • Familiarity with security principles and data protection standards
