Job Description

Are you experienced in fund services and have strong communication skills? Then you found the right position for you!

As a Fund Servicing Change Strategy Team Vice President within the Global Fund Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile project management and data automation change assignments on behalf of the business. You will lead a team of driven individuals and manage both their project book and your own. The Change Strategy team is responsible for process improvement across Global Fund Services and product areas such as Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Financial Reporting, Asset Pricing, and Transfer Agency, utilizing a combination of project management and digital solutions.

Job responsibilities

• Lead reviews of functional processes across the GFSO organization to reduce overall operational risk and build a more robust end-to-end process - get to the bottom of 'why', answer the 'so what', and utilize creative problem-solving
• Develop and leverage a digitalization skillset and a data-centric mindset to identify and execute process improvements
• Create visual and verbal stories to articulate this journey at all organizational levels, including securing approval from senior leaders and communicating new processes to operations teams
• Make recommendations on addressing identified gaps, and consider implications for team structure, location strategy, and functional alignment
• Build strong partnerships with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions
• Engage with stakeholders using strong interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge processes
• Manage a book of work; own and project manage key deliverables, working to tight deadlines, and lead multiple projects from initiation to completion
• Oversee your teams book of work, ensuring targets are met and blockers are resolved

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in financial services and fund services
• Commitment to excellence and attention to detail; ability to align details with the big-picture strategy
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of succinctly communicating complex issues to all levels
• Proactive mindset, self-motivated, able to work independently
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proficiency with Intelligent Automation tools: Alteryx, Tableau, Xceptor, UiPath
• Ability to present to MD-level audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience working in a project management team
• Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting
• Track record of delivering projects using Alteryx, Tableau, or similar citizen developer tools
