Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious five-star hotel and resort set within stunning countryside just outside London. Our client is seeking a passionate and experiencedGardenerto support the maintenance of their beautifully maintained estate, with a particular focus on a productive kitchen garden.

This is a hands-on outdoor role where you will assist with the upkeep of landscaped gardens and growing areas, contributing to the overall presentation and sustainability of the estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain gardens and growing areas, including fruit and vegetable plots
  • Carry out a range of horticultural tasks such as planting, weeding, mowing, pruning, and mulching
  • Support the wider estate team in day-to-day grounds maintenance
  • Ensure high standards of presentation across all outdoor spaces
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

About You

  • Previous experience in a gardening or horticultural role (ideally 2+ years experience or NVQ level 2 qualifications)
  • Knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and seasonal gardening practices
  • Experience working with fruit and vegetable gardens is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for outdoor work
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and starting early
