Immediate start available on a temp to perm basis. Working at a large multiple block residential/commercial development in a team in which the Maintenance Operative will carry out planned preventative and reactive building maintenance. Day to day will include minor maintenance tasks such as replacement of defective light bulbs, minor plumbing maintenance such as sourcing and isolating building leaks, unblocking drains, painting and decorating, inspect and maintain exterior doors, lubricate door hinges and check locks and door closers functioning correctly. There will be some routine fire safety and health and safety building checks, procedures and reporting, updating records and generally communicating effectively and positively with all team members. The right candidate must be a great team player with an excellent command of English, have at least two years’ previous experience in a maintenance role, experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks, a good understanding and working knowledge of Health and Safety, strong customer service skills...
