We are currently recruiting for a passionate and driven General Manager to lead this independent dining pub with rooms. As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, leading your team from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving performance and maintaining high standards across all areas.

The Perks

The successful General Manager can expect:
Basic salary of £40,000
Service charge of approximately £10,000 per year, plus performance-related bonus
4-day working week

The Place

Our client is a beautiful dining pub with rooms, ideally located in the Cotswolds. This family-run freehouse is well known for its modern British, seasonal menus, which change regularly and are served across breakfast, lunch, and dinner in both bar and dining spaces, as well as a relaxed outdoor setting.
The property also offers a small number of individually designed bedrooms and additional accommodation, all finished to a high standard, creating a well-rounded hospitality offering with a strong reputation for quality and consistency.

The Person

The successful General Manager will have:
Previous experience as a General Manager within a similar pub or restaurant environment
A strong background in high-quality, fresh food-led operations
A proven track record of leading and developing teams
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and profitability
A hands-on leadership style with excellent attention to detail
A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Flexibility with working hours
A full driving licence due to the rural location (even if live-in is available)
