Role Description

This is a full-time, live-in, on-site role for a General Manager based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a Samuel Smith venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining inventory, organizing schedules, and driving financial success through strong budget management and cost control. The role also involves maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

  • Team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff.
  • Experience in overseeing business operations and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
  • Problem-solving abilities and conflict management experience.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Ability to handle inventory management and monitor stock levels efficiently.
  • Experience in a leadership role in the hospitality, food and beverage, or retail industry is highly desirable.
