We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealer group with locations across South Wales and the West of England. The General Manager role in North Bristol offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic dealership, drive business growth, and develop your leadership skills within an engaging and supportive environment.

Monday to Friday working week with weekend support as required
Key duties include:
Leading, managing, and motivating a team of automotive professionals to deliver exceptional performance
Overseeing the sales and after-sales divisions to ensure targets are exceeded
Setting and managing financial, sales, and growth objectives for the dealership
Finalising accurate reporting aligned with group frameworks
Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards
Sustaining a high-performance culture through performance management and reward systems
Candidate requirements:
Proven experience as a Head of Business, Dealer Principal, or General Manager within a franchise-approved car dealership
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a large, diverse team
Professional, calm, and positive approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to anticipate and overcome potential challenges
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
