General Manager The Opportunity We are working with a fantastic hotel to recruit a General Manager for their new F&B openings in the coming months. The opening will consist of a Pan Asian small plates restaurant, bar and rooftop terrace in the heart of Manchester. This a great opportunity to lead the restaurant and bar operation and be involved from the beginning to shape the operation whilst working for an international group with vast scope for ongoing growth and development. The Role Reporting to the Director of F&B the GM will be fully responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant and bar operations leading a team of up to 50 when fully open. Key responsibilities will include: Oversee the day to day running of the operations with a keen focus on guest experience and outstanding customer service Manage operational budgets and achieve financial performance targets Lead by example and be a visible presence in the restaurant Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders Oversee events including exclusive and semi exclusive hires Ensure full H&S and licencing compliance This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who builds strong relationships with teams and enables them to thrive. The Candidate We are looking for an experienced Manager with an understanding of busy, quality restaurant and bar operations. You will bring: Proven quality led multi outlet operational experience managing large teams Strong background in premium, food-led hospitality Sound commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results A positive leadership style with a focus on pro-actively leading and developing your teams This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality leader who combines a genuine passion for guest experience with strong operational and financial performance.
