General Manager – The New Crown Hotel Located on the South Shields coast, the New Crown Hotel has recently received a £500k investment and is now a modern Grandstand‑format venue. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead this high‑profile sports‑focused pub, build on its solid performance (£25k weekly, ~600 covers) and drive further growth in food, events and community engagement. The role includes management accommodation – a 3‑bed flat above the pub. Responsibilities
Find, grow and engage the team. Be accountable for running all aspects of the pub. Be passionate about doing the right thing for staff and customers. Dream big and think differently about new ways to increase sales and growth. Celebrate and create a buzz by sharing enjoyable experiences.
