to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet, supporting our customer Sainsburys. As a General Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership and management for the fast-paced site in Sherburn in Elmet while continuing to develop added value to customer propositions in order to strengthen organisational dependencies and partnerships. This is a full time, permanent position and even though contracted

What youll do on a typical day: Manage the sites leadership teams, achieving operational delivery performance and adherence to all company and customer/site KPIs Liaise and build rapport with the customer to allow for collaborative working and the defining ofshared goals and objectives Lead the change management on site, with a focus on CI, health and safety Maintain effective and open communication links positively encouraging teamwork What you need to succeed at GXO Significant experience in a fast-moving logistics environment; previous grocery experience would be preferred Strong financial acumen - youll be accountable for a multi-million-pound budget Ability to coach and develop senior managers along with experience of managing trade union relationships Experience in a customer-facing role, with exposure to project management, driving change and implementing a CI culture We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
