Robertson Recruitment are working with a well-established sheet metal fabrication company specialising in high-quality metal products for a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our production team.
As a General Operative, you will support day-to-day workshop operations and assist skilled fabricators to ensure production targets and quality standards are met. This is a hands-on role suited to someone practical, motivated, and keen to work in a manufacturing environment.
Working hours
Monday to Friday
06:00am - 14:00pm
Responsibilities
Assisting with sheet metal fabrication and assembly work
Operating basic machinery and tools (training provided)
Handling, loading, and unloading materials safely
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting other team members as required
Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is an advantage, but not essential
Good manual handling ability and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
