Geotechnical Engineer - Exeter\nDo you want to join a consultancy with a culture of innovation, openness and inclusivity?\nOur client is one of the largest geotechnical and geoenvironmental specialist consultancies in the UK, and has a proven track record as an inclusive, people orientated company, delivering leading edge services for a wide range of clients.\nThey are passionate about developing the careers of their staff, with training and career development provided at all levels, in a supportive and flexible working environment as reflected by our Investors in People Gold Status and within their core values.\nRole\nThey are currently seeking a geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineer looking to develop their skills and experience to work at their office on the outskirts of Exeter, on projects that vary in size and nature both in the south west of England and across the UK. The role will include a mixture of office and site work and will be challenging, varied and interesting.\nCandidate\nYou will have an undergraduate degree in engineering geology or similar, and preferably have a post‐graduate degree in a geotechnical or geoenvironmental specialism. You will have one or so years’ industry experience with an understanding of UK geology and a basic knowledge of UK construction practice.
You will be looking to develop your experience by taking on challenging projects and more responsibility.\nProgression\nJoining them, you will progress your career on a sound technical basis by doing real engineering and environmental consultancy from day one. They won’t limit you to working on desk studies and risk assessments behind the scenes for months on end. You will be able to progress your career rapidly towards Chartership, by gaining real experience of all stages of a project within a supportive team
