This is a 6 month remote contract - Outside IR35. Our client, a leading consultancy, is currently looking for a GIS Architect/Specialist who will be responsible for creating an ESRI based Enterprise GIS Platform and implementing geospatial solutions.This will require a strong background in GIS technologies, enterprise architecture principles, and project management. What you will be expected to do: Develop and maintain the overall GIS architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and technology standards Design scalable and robust geospatial solutions that integrate with existing enterprise systems Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements and understand geospatial needs Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms that meet the organisation's needs Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in GIS and enterprise architecture Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines for GIS solutions Work with teams to establish best practices for data management, integration, and Security within the GIS environment Work within governance and compliance requirements of the client
