Design Engineer

The Role An established manufacturing business based in Cardiff is looking to recruit a Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This role will suit someone with who has completed a Design Degree and is ready to start their journey. You will be working on practical, real-world products within a manufacturing environment. Youll be involved in producing accurate designs, supporting production, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed engineering drawings and design documentation Use CAD software to develop and modify designs Liaise with manufacturing, production, and quality teams Support the introduction of new products and design improvements Ensure designs meet technical, quality, and manufacturing requirements The Ideal Candidate Relevant engineering or technical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous Strong CAD skills (2D/3D) Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as part of an engineering team
